OPEN FORUMS & sCREENINGS

In 2017 New York Black Professionals addressed serious racially charged issues such as police criminality/brutality, Deportation, and #45 . Beyond just talking both activist and political strategists were invited to and open forum and Q&A. The conversation was followed with a brief one on one conversational advisement. Attendees gained a wealth of information and tools that they could start using quickly to combat racial inequality. Going into 2018 N.Y.B.P. hopes to further such discussions through introduction of informative books and movie screenings. Additionally, we aim to mentor member's to read policies that affect them locally with understanding and speak at council meetings with conviction. [Expenses listed below]

This past summer New York Black Professionals took on the networking scene and re-envisioned what it means to make a real connection. Networking is how people find job leads, business contacts, referrals and of course new friends!
